About Cold Plunge Report

Cold Plunge Report is an owner-led publication edited by Steven Hess for people choosing, owning and operating cold plunges at home or in a business. We explain the equipment, compare documented model configurations, provide free ownership tools and examine vendor claims. Our aim is to make a complicated purchase easier to understand and the evidence behind it easier to check.

Where it comes from

Hess co-owns Revolve, a wellness business that runs commercial Plunge equipment and has an unresolved service history with the company. That is why Plunge is the first brand covered in depth, and why researched product claims and model specifications link to their sources. Satisfactory, mixed and unresolved ownership are covered under the same rules.

What this is not

Not a testing laboratory, a law firm or a consumer survey. Unless a page describes a documented test, the equipment has not been tested here. Calculator results depend on the inputs and on the method shown on the page.

Independence

No paid placement, affiliate rankings, referral payments or manufacturer sponsorship. If that ever changes, it will be stated here and at the point of use.

How the work is done

Research uses public documents. Private ownership and service records are used only with the owner’s authorization. AI tools assist research organization, drafting and calculation methods. Model profiles identify manufacturer-document analysis; guides distinguish original decision criteria from product-specific claims. Each researched specification links to its source. A source review does not establish hands-on performance or reliability.

Owner accounts are published only in the version the owner approved, with a label on each fact stating what was checked. How contributing works.
