Installation

The current product pages call for a surface that tolerates water exposure and splashing, with placement away from flooding. They disclaim responsibility for water damage to surrounding surfaces. Earlier reading, September 27, 2026: the pages also required the mechanical compartment to sit beneath a roof, and excluded damage from improper installation, inadequate drainage or water intrusion into it from the warranty.

Residential warranty

Forge’s current product page states a three-year, non-transferable warranty for manufacturing defects, covering parts and labor. The warranty policy starts the term at delivery and gives refurbished units one year. These current terms do not establish coverage for an earlier purchase.
