The buyer question
ORCA offers The Well for "your home or commercial facility." Its pages give 110 V for the chiller, 175 lb for the barrel and 35 lb for the stairs, but no capacity, filled weight, clearance, drainage or warranty.
Ask ORCA what warranty covers The Well before ordering: none of its pages states one, and the one-line "1 Year Limited Warranty" appears only in chiller specifications on other ORCA pages, not on any Well page.
Clearance
ORCA publishes no clearance, ventilation or drainage guidance for The Well or its chiller, and no filled weight or floor-load figure.

After delivery
Installation, maintenance and repair can change the value of the purchase.
The Well page says the 3/4 HP chiller cools to 37° and heats to 104°, and ORCA's chiller chart gives 37°F - 104°F for that chiller. The comparison chart on the same Well page gives The Well 32°F - 108°F. The page text is used here.
ORCA offers The Well for "your home or commercial facility," yet the same page describes only the 1.5 and 2 HP chillers as "designed for Commercial and High-volume applications" and recommends 20-micron filters for commercial use. No commercial terms are published.
None of The Well's pages states a warranty. The standalone 3/4 HP chiller page lists "1 Year Limited Warranty," but ORCA does not say that line covers the chiller sold with The Well, and no term for the barrel, cover or stairs is published. The store's warranty page address returned not found on September 27, 2026.
The Well page says a 50-micron filter is included for residential use, while ORCA's chiller pages call filtration optional. ORCA's maintenance page says to replace the filter about every 10–14 days (other ORCA pages: every 2 weeks) and warns that non-ORCA filters "may void the manufacturer warranty." Filters are $36 for six.
Marine-grade 316 stainless steel, 14 gauge, with 1 in closed-cell NBR insulation, a built-in seat, anti-slip stairs and a clear polycarbonate cover; no lock is described. The barrel weighs 175 lb and the stairs 35 lb; capacity, internal dimensions and filled weight are not published.
The Well page gives 110 volt for the chiller and no current draw. The standalone 3/4 HP chiller page lists 7.6 A cooling and 7.9 A heating, but ORCA does not say it is the same unit. No plug type or circuit requirement is published.
Standard shipping is included; White Glove Delivery (room of choice, unboxed, no installation) costs $400 more. ORCA says no tools are needed and describes quick-release hoses and ball valves, with a setup video, but lists no inclusions, ship time or freight terms; its shipping policy says orders typically ship within 1–3 business days.
The white Well is $3,995 without a chiller and $6,495 with the 1 HP chiller. The black Well costs the same; the cedar Well is $200 more, except with the 1 HP chiller.
Returns must be requested within 30 days of purchase, unused and in the original packaging. A 15% restocking fee applies once the order has shipped (3–6% if cancelled before), refunds are less the cost of shipping, and sale purchases cannot be returned.
