Warranty conditions
App/firmware, filter replacement at least every 30 days, water chemistry and winterization are coverage conditions; the text also prohibits adding ice.
Clearance
Residential setup specifies 16-inch component-end clearance, 12-inch front access and smaller 4-inch side/end spacing; app is part of setup. Full diagram and current manual govern placement.
Winterization conflict
Residential setup says winterize after 12 hours below 32°F; warranty wording requires draining at/below freezing for any period. Ask for model-specific written reconciliation rather than choosing a permissive instruction.
