Plunge. Beyond the purchase.

This record separates what Plunge publishes about its products, warranties, support and terms from what those documents leave open and what owners report. Each statement is dated and linked to its source.

In brief

What the record shows

Five source-linked distinctions a buyer or owner can use when comparing documents, coverage and published accounts.

  • Performance figures are published without their test conditions.

On the pages read September 19, 2026, cooling and efficiency figures are stated without the comparator or test protocol behind them, and the volume and temperatures they assume are not always given.

    Residential pages in the register
  • Both warranties cover listed components for one year from delivery.

The residential and commercial warranties list different components, and the All-In commercial warranty listed six months for the auto-doser probe until its September 25, 2026 revision. Under both, mileage, removal and reinstallation, and replacement-unit logistics can remain the owner’s expense.

    Published provisions
  • Return terms differ by where you read them.

The storefront, the help center and the business site each publish return and cancellation terms, and the fees and timings do not match across them.

    Returns in the register
  • Support is published as separate stages, each with its own timing.

Contact hours, parts-order creation and average response time are each published with their own timing. No overall repair-completion time is published.

    Support in the register
  • Public accounts describe recurring equipment and warranty problems.

Review platforms, the complaint process and owner forums carry accounts of equipment faults, service delays and warranty difficulties. No common technical cause has been established, and the number of distinct owners behind them is not known.

What the warranties cover

Published provisions, as of September 19, 2026

The documents as published on that date. An earlier purchase is governed by the documents in force at the time of sale.

Coverage period Residential (All-In) Commercial (All-In)
Listed components Shell, chiller/controls, plumbing and factory components: one year from delivery. Commercial use excluded from residential coverage. Listed components: one year; auto-doser probe: six months, from delivery.

Revised September 25, 2026. Plunge revised the commercial warranty. The revised text lists one year from delivery for every listed component, including the water purification system, and no separate auto-doser probe term (source CB02-R2, read September 25, 2026).

Service model, both uses Published provision
Who performs and pays Authorized covered repair parts and labor without charge, subject to eligibility. Owner provides access; mileage, removal/reinstallation and replacement-unit logistics can remain the owner’s expense. US and outlying-state restrictions apply.
Repaired or replaced components Manufacturer replacement keeps the original balance. Separate current guidance offers 90-day repaired/replacement-component coverage, with exclusions and order-history review, including covered labor, travel and shipping.

Sources: Plunge’s residential warranty, commercial warranty and the article on which warranty path applies, all read September 19, 2026: entries WS-W01, WS-W02 and WS-S01 in the register, and sources CB01, CB02 and CB10 in the warranty comparison. The table applies to the All-In as documented; match the generation, configuration and the sales agreement for any other model. The warranty comparison places these provisions beside those of the other brands it compares: Warranty comparison.
